A bunch of tough lads from down-under on the workbench for some WW2 jungle wargame scenarios to fight the Japanese.



Been quite busy over the last couple of weeks with work and decorating the house, so I've not had much time for anything hobbywise, but in my spare moments I've been slowly working on these guys every now and again, and hope to finish basing them soon and get them on the wargame table.

The figures are a mixture of two old favourite sets, the Matchbox 1/76 scale Anzac set and the classic Airfix Australian Infantry. I also added a few helmets here and there and used a couple of Airfix 8th Army figures and replaced the shorts with long trousers.

Italeri 1/72 Scale Church

Just finished painting the Italeri church - it's huge !

It's also a very robust plastic model with lots of raised detail which makes it a nice kit to paint.
